Just Fix It & COVID-19

To Just Fix IT customers,

In response to the latest health directives from the Ontario & Quebec governments, we continue to take steps  as a business to limit the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Province of Ontario has categorized Region of Waterloo as Red Zone, which places restrictions on business access. We are taking responsible action in line with Provincial guidelines with respect to safe distancing, prescreening staff, frequent sanitization and wearing of masks in public access areas.

Here is an update for our customers as of April 5, 2021:

Just Fix IT qualifies as an essential business by offering IT and telecom services to healthcare providers and financial companies, and by enabling the remote working arrangements of businesses through our private cloud datacentre operations. We are aware of how much our customers need their IT systems at these times. Through our amazing staff effort we have been able to continue all our day-to-day operations.

We have made it a priority to keep employees and customers safe using remote support where possible.

  • Support services: We are pleased to confirm that we will continue to provide JFI Helpdesk and Hosted IT services through this period and to support you as you roll out additional IT capabilities for employees working in isolation or at home.
The preferred method of receiving tickets is by email to help@justfixit.com or via the JFx Healthcheck desktop tool

  • Site visits: In compliance with Government recommendations, and to minimize contact points at this time we are restricting our on-site tech visits to respond to urgent issues only, to address critical infrastructure. We will also require certain safeguards be in place including absence of symptoms and with respect to social distancing. The exact arrangements will be discussed directly with affected parties as the need arises.
We have implemented tracking of customer contact points with our on-premises technicians during tickets in case Contact Tracing is required by Health Canada.

  • Hardware drop off: The Just Fix IT head office (230 Gage, Kitchener) will be locked to visitors during the day, and pickup/drop off of hardware is by appointment only. Social distancing and absence of symptoms are also expected.

We truly value your partnership and will continue to provide the necessary support during this challenging time. If there is any way we can assist you with your business arrangements, please reach out to your Account Manager or myself. We will provide further updates if there are any further developments.
